The School of Music requires that all entering freshmen, transfer students and current JMU students seeking admission must be accepted via an audition. As a part of the audition day, students hear from the Director of the School of Music and other faculty members, participate in a Q&A with our current students, conduct their audition with a professor in their discipline, and have the option to join in on School of Music tours. PLEASE NOTE: WE WILL NOT HAVE TRUMPET AUDITIONS ON THIS DAY. PLEASE PICK ANOTHER AUDITION DAY IF APPLICABLE. Check-in begins one hour prior to the listed start time. A more detailed agenda will be provided in the week prior to the event. |
