The School of Theatre and Dance at JMU requires a gateway process for admission to the Theatre major that reflects the applicant's interest and abilities. As a part of the audition day, students will hear an information session about the School of Theatre and Dance programs, conduct their audition/interview, and have the opportunity to join in on tours. This event is for students interested in majoring in Theatre (Performance, Design and Technology, K-12 Education, or Theatre Studies). This audition day is being held in conjunction with Explore JMU Arts in the morning, which requires separate registration. It is highly recommended that you register for both events to experience all of the activities associated with an audition day. A more detailed agenda will be provided in the week prior to the event. |
